PERFECTO Y PEDRO, S.A. (hereinafter, FELSAN), engaged since 1977 in the forming of metal tubing for the automotive sector and other industries, has established as a priority business objective sustainable environmental performance and the protection of the environment.
To this end, it works to achieve continual improvement in favour of the prevention of pollution, the reduction of the environmental impact of its activity and of the products it places on the market, and compliance with legislation, regulations, environmental requirements and customer-specific requirements (CSRs).
Through this document, FELSAN sets out the following principles and commitments:
- For Management to assume the commitments to place on the market only products that satisfy the customer in order to enhance their satisfaction, to establish capable and robust processes, and to implement a programme of continual improvement of the effectiveness and efficiency of the Integrated Quality and Environmental Management System.
- To provide the necessary material and human resources as a commitment to achieving the aforementioned objective, in the conviction that the cost involved is nothing other than a profitable investment.
- To guarantee, throughout the entire cycle of our activity and of our products, the prevention and continuous reduction of environmental impact, while at the same time contributing to the competitiveness of the company and to the protection of the environment through: control of water consumption, reduction at source and maximum recovery of the waste generated, control of energy consumption and prevention of accidental pollution.
- To base our lines of research and development of new products on sustainable models that are responsible towards the environment, through the use of new, more efficient and productive technologies.
- To strive for the conservation of resources by promoting the saving and recovery of materials, water and energy in our production processes.
- To strengthen correct segregation in waste management through waste reduction systems and, in particular, by improving systems for the reuse, recovery and maximum utilisation of waste.
- To comply with the requirements of existing legislation and other environmental requirements that FELSAN subscribes to, to keep them up to date and to continuously assess the degree of compliance.
- To raise awareness and motivate employees to develop good environmental practices, promoting, through appropriate information and training of personnel, that the performance of each person’s work, tasks and responsibilities is carried out in a manner consistent with the protection of the environment.
- To ensure the dissemination of the Quality and Environmental Policy to our employees, suppliers, subcontractors, etc., and to make it available to other interested parties.
- To integrate the applicable environmental considerations into all business decisions and activity planning, and into the criteria applied for measuring the results of the company’s management.
Both Management and all people in the organisation are responsible for the proper development of the Integrated Quality and Environmental Management System. For all of these reasons, the environmental objectives established can only be achieved with the support and collaboration of everyone.
Through distribution at all levels of the organisation, and through training and awareness-raising, it will be ensured that the Quality and Environmental Policy is understood and accepted by all personnel.
